Bought as a table for the living room. I like the coaster, although I haven't used it much I will use it for festive dishes. I use a recess on the back for my iPad when I'm not using it, my phone, small notepads, a small calculator, and my disposable eye drops. This cutout features two cable slots for charging your devices. The tray is a bit thin but easy to move. It's okay to stock up on food, do paperwork. I didn't use it to read a magazine or book in the down position. Please do not try to hold the tray to get up from your seat, it will not hold you. I haven't tried tucking it under a chair as I like being able to put my stuff on it. If I kept it I would go up and down with it all day. Rschunimagu. I'm thinking about getting a few more for my guess. I would like more colors to match the decor. I recommend it.
