I ordered Jar Blue in a size 16 and for reference my son is 5ft 3in, fairly slim, wears size 26-28 in men's shorts/trousers, XXL in children's clothing or S in men's clothing and weighs 130lbs. and fit perfectly! I bought a size 16 based on other reviews and that helped me with my decision so I hope this helps you! The suit itself has light blue needle-shaped stripes and I almost got scared when I first saw it up close when I opened the packaging, but I got scared too early because when my son tried it on, the stripes were barely visible. and it actually made the costume look better while it was on. gave it a modern look.
