Review on X MEDIA 3 5 Inch Aluminum Enclosure XM EN3251U3 BK by Jason Masango

Fully featured 2TB hard drive enclosure. 5 stars for the product because it goes beyond its price range. Pros: - cheap but doesn't feel assembled - durable outer shell - stand with anti-vibration mounts - USB 3.0 - really nice finish and colors; They didn't lie about the plating - activity lights aren't too bright - screwdrivers included if you don't have tools handy, necessary hardware for installation (screws etc.) is provided. Disadvantages: - Thin, cheap sheet metal for interior work - The activity indicator cables must be carefully bent to the side when installing the actuator. Final Thoughts: Both negatives are irrelevant to what the case offers. Brittle metal can act as a shock absorber. Even slightly bending the activity indicator cable when installing the hard drive is not a problem. I just installed the drive so I can't speak to reliability. If anything goes wrong I will update this review.
