Seems like a good replacement for the stock filter in my 2019 Nissan LEAF. Like the factory filter, it had a layer of activated carbon that was supposed to help fight odors. Installation went as expected, although it took a little more effort due to the thickness. However, when it came time to replace it, the same thickness made it almost impossible! LEAFs (and presumably other similar Nissan HVAC systems) have a filter opening that is smaller than the filter itself, so you should be able to pinch the side of the filter to push it in. - a tab on the side of the filter that should allow you to grab the filter and squeeze it just enough that it starts to come out of the hole. This filter material is so stiff and thick that it does not compress enough to be easily removed and the tab was separated from the filter while it was still in the housing. I was eventually able to get it out with pliers and brute force, but I wouldn't recommend this filter media for a car like this where you need to be able to compress the stuff to pull it out when replacing it.
