Review on OtterBox SYMMETRY SERIES Case for iPhone 8 PLUS & iPhone 7 PLUS (ONLY) - MIX BERRY JAM (BATON ROUGE/MARITIME BLUE) - Retail Packaging by Eric Carr

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great case, enough to replace 2 cases.

I had this screen protector because I think it was necessary for my iPhone 8 Plus. Having recently upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy 5, I couldn't responsibly look after an even larger and significantly heavier phone, so I was looking for a case that wasn't too bulky but still offered some protection. My first suitcase was a Pursuit but it felt too big and the doorbell switch didn't work properly so I returned it. After a long search and almost buying a fleece-lined silicone case, I decided on this one. I went back to it because it was made in the USA, which I think meant it might have gone through a rigorous quality control process, and I liked the feel of the tracking case, although the bell cover switch didn't work. I am happy with this purchase and for the front of the phone that is not covered I think this product will work well if you have a separate glass face shield. I usually prefer one-piece protectors, but not when it comes to the touchscreen. I'm also glad this case wasn't as bulky as I expected as I was planning on getting a slimmer case for formal occasions. For me it offers great protection without being bulky. This device was a little tight on my phone initially as it activated some side volume buttons when placed on my iPhone 8 Plus. But it used to be very comfortable. I like that the case feels comfortable with semi-grip rubber on the sides, but at the same time is firm and firm on the back. I guess I'm a tactile person because aside from loving the feel of this case in my hand, I have no problem laying my phone on hard concrete (which I get nervous about with a bare glass iPhone case would). and enjoy that the phone feels secure in my front (yes, front) pocket and doesn't shift and/or bend. which looks like a quarter of a thickness to prevent the protrusion from touching the surface when the body is chambered. The bottom cutouts for the Lightning cable and bottom vents for the speakers feel perfectly aligned to me, and the side buttons for the power and volume controls are comfortably taut, which is fortunate for me since I don't use them much use and appreciate the protection they provide for underused keys. I also like that the ringer's on/off button is more of a simple cutout than an attempt to add a side button. I have a feeling this switch is designed to close properly and have another working switch like Pursuit tried. to buy. I'm willing to bet it costs almost twice as much if you buy it from your local cellular carrier. Thank you for reading and I hope this review helps you.
