I bought 2 of these. The first one was ok although I had trouble figuring out how to put it on. It worked fine. The back buttons are nice and bright and the waistband is highly reflective. Luminous tubes are clearly visible. I wore it for several nights walking around my neighborhood in the dark and I could tell from other people's actions that it made me quite visible. It stopped working and we figured out how to open the battery compartment and get more batteries. Now it occurred to me that the flashing button was supposed to be attached to the belt with Velcro. That would be helpful to know at the beginning. I've just opened a second one and would return it if it was within 5 days. One of the plastic hoses has come loose. I plugged it back in, it's really confusing. I was very upset and postponed it for the time being. I think I'll carry the other one with the little bike lights until we get the batteries he needs. I think I should have spent more and gotten 1 higher quality product.
