I bought this timer to work with my classic 1991/1992 Miata TBI Small Block Chevy/350 engine in my 1995 GMC Sierra with electronic ignition, it was a bit sporadic at first but once the engine was warm, it ran happily, just connect the cables to the battery and the sensor to spark plug 1 and you're done. The instructions are easy to follow and the flash clearly shows the timestamps in action. I used a sharp black pencil to mark the engine timing marks. Make sure the arrow on the displacement sensor clip is pointing at the spark plug as the arrow will not be visible until you locate it. Great item for classic car lovers. Easy-to-use, comfortable grip with gun trigger switch for ease of use. good bright light.
