Volume control is minimal, but sufficient for most calls.

This phone is perfect for my needs. My only complaint is that on some calls I wish I could turn the caller volume up even more. There's a volume dial on the side and a switch on the back that, if I'm not mistaken, controls the volume at which the caller hears me. Some people speak very softly, and sometimes I wish I could make it louder. (I'm not hearing impaired) But overall this phone met my needs and works well at a great price. Note** I use it to work from home in a call center like situation.
