Sturdy and robust. We will entrust our more expensive monoblocks to this stand without any problems. I like the wide stance. When you spread your legs fully the distance between your legs is 38 inches so it's pretty stable. Much better than cheaper racks that are only a few bucks less. It costs a few dollars more to get much better racks. See photo shows a cheaper (black) stand next to it. Other reviewers have cited rivets on the cross brace as a possible source of failure and I agree. But since they stay pretty much in the studio and don't get lugged around much, I'm not overly concerned about that - I'm still giving it 5 stars for the price.
