What a beautiful tripod

What a beautiful tripod with amazing stability, compatibility and durability! These durable coasters are actually lightweight and quite easy to transport when folded into a bag (not included). And they are much taller than me, so every penny is very expensive!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Fits

They appear to be well made.

I'll let you know how they hold it in a year or so. I have Manfrotto tripods and PBL Light tripods so I can count on quality. It should be noted that the hinges on these uprights are rivets, not screws and washers. It may be possible to drill them out and add screws (like the PBL struts). This seems to be the only possible weak point in the stands.

  • Complete set
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

Great stands for your money!

I read some reviews and looked at all the possible stands. Went with them and so far I love them. I just needed something to hold my monolights and other lighting. Very impressed with the price. The base is pretty wide. It is very easy to change 1/4 to 3/8 with a detachable head. There's a springy feel when you adjust the height levels so they don't fall off. For this price you can't go wrong and if they break just buy another set!

Update lighting

In my 20 years as a hobby photographer I've never had a real lighting setup. I was really put off by the price of high tech devices and the low quality of budget items. Well these shelves are perfect for my needs. They are much stronger than black thin aluminum coasters that fall from mouse farts. They're not very light, but they don't have to be! You're not traveling through the Himalayas with your gear, so you don't have to worry about how heavy they are. I can easily use a monoblock standโ€ฆ

Outstanding build quality in this price range

Sturdy and robust. We will entrust our more expensive monoblocks to this stand without any problems. I like the wide stance. When you spread your legs fully the distance between your legs is 38 inches so it's pretty stable. Much better than cheaper racks that are only a few bucks less. It costs a few dollars more to get much better racks. See photo shows a cheaper (black) stand next to it. Other reviewers have cited rivets on the cross brace as a possible source of failure and I agree. Butโ€ฆ

Stable stand; cool customer service!

We have similar stands (above) from Neewer where I work, it's a non-profit organization. We found them beautiful, heavy and durable; an improvement over some of the lighter ones. I liked them so much I bought this shorter pair for my own use in low budget projects. Excellent price. I ran into a problem: one of the T-handles would not tighten. I contacted Neewer and they immediately offered to send me a replacement stand. I was very happy with this answer but said let's just try another Tโ€ฆ

Trust Neewer Customer Service

I bought this set in 2018 to use in my home studio and I really like it as it is strong and durable. The legs are wide enough for more stability. I recently ordered another outdoor kit. Unfortunately, one of them had a problem. The small rivet(?) holding the spring in the main shaft broke in two. I was disappointed as it was my first time using it outdoors. It happened on Monday. I have emailed Neewer with pictures of the problem as proof. The next day (Tuesday) they promised to send me aโ€ฆ

I love her! for camera and photography

These flashes are ideal for portable flashes! So far I've used one of two types: a C stand and cheap ones like the $20 2. The C stand is great - as others have said, it will outlive the photographer. But they weigh about the same as the photographer. They're pretty close to perfection. I bought a short set for portability. They fit nicely in the telescope bag I already had and are big enough for situations where the subject isn't too high above the photographer's head (actually a flash). If you
