Review on ⏱️ Black Vibration Hour Meter: Hardline Products HR-8065 by Richard Lamptey

was skeptical about this meter after reading some reviews very glad I bought it. As expected, it came with zero hours on the counter and has a small tab that you remove after installation. It only starts adding hours after the tab is removed. I installed it on a Porter Cable vertical oil bath reciprocating compressor. It works as expected and has been counting hours accurately since installation. I've only observed that it runs while the compressor is running, not "when the bus is passing" like some of the reviews I've read. The cost of the meter is small compared to the cost of the compressor. It's cheap insurance that helps me keep track of engine maintenance. I installed a similar gauge on my Honda alternator but it uses the signal from the spark plug wire of the same brand/manufacturer and has worked flawlessly for several years. I expect the same from this device.
