I put them on when I was washing the wall behind the electric dryer. I touch the outlet with my small wet cloth and an arc of sparks and hissing ensues. Socket and plug (large 220 volt) are blackened and worn. I didn't feel anything, which I attribute to these gloves. The electrician said that I probably would have died otherwise. HOWEVER, THEY ARE NOT ADVERTISED AND INTENDED FOR ELECTRICAL WORK OR PROTECTION. I'm just very lucky. Of course, if the rubber gloves even have pinholes, they offer no protection.
