I bought this from Revain along with a Shorei LiFePO4 battery for my bike. These battery types require a charging voltage of 3.6V per cell or 14.4V for a 12V battery. The specifications for this charger state that the bulk charge will be carried out at a constant current of 2.0 amps until the voltage reaches 14.1 volts. I connected the charger to my battery along with a voltmeter on the wires and watched the mass keep rising until I finally unplugged the 15.0 volt charger. That's too much and could damage my expensive battery. If I hadn't checked with a volt meter I could have put the battery in my bike next to the gas tank and left it unattended while it was charging. The thought that the lithium ion batteries in my garage next to the gas tank might fail made me return this charger. If you buy, check with a voltmeter.
