Review on Efficient Meal Prep With YANGRUI Clamshell Food Containers - Large Capacity & Leak Proof 3-Compartment 9.5 Inch Containers For Microwave & Freezer by Johnny Mcnealy

Very Sturdy With Large Compartments, Lid Is Vented- Better For Leftovers Than Long-Term Meal Preps

These are pretty good food containers for leftovers. They are made of very sturdy plastic with a strong hinge for the lid. The three separate sections in the container are all of good, useable sizes. Unlike some where the small ones tend to be very small, these are exactly a quarter size each of the large section, which is exactly half of the container. There is plenty of room for a large amount of sides. Finally, these ran through my dishwasher without issue and have held up well to freezing. My cons on these containers are relatively nitpicky, so I didn't think that it was fair to drop my rating due to them. That being said, these are a pain to run through the dishwasher due to their size. Since the lids cannot be separated and they are relatively large containers, I am only able to run a handful of them through at a time with little space for other items. Additionally, these would not be my first choice for meal prepping due to the vents in the lid. These containers are really better for short-term preps (1 week or less) or for storing leftovers rather than preps where the food will be frozen for a prolonged period of time.Overall, these are excellent containers for the price ($44.99/45 or around $1 each)! They are very large with oversized compartments, sturdy, and dishwasher safe.
