Warning - the brackets start protruding through the seat of the stool

I liked that the stool is collapsible. It's not as easy to assemble as you might think. It could only be me. This is not a problem. If it were a problem I would agree. The big problem with the stool is that the struts protrude through the seat of the stool. I didn't realize it was a problem until I sat down on that part of the chair. There are two brackets that are the problem. I'm not happy with that fact. It's too late to send him back. This is clearly a product defect. Delivery. The box was torn but the stool seemed intact so I didn't complain to Revane about it. It should have been placed in a shipping box that wasn't there.
