You have no idea how many cables I tried before I discovered Nekteck. Since USB-C, USB 3.0, 3.1 and Thunderbolt 3 look the same it's very confusing and I spent over a month trying to find a cable that would work between my 2018 Macbook Pro and an HP 27 Envy 4K monitor. HP did a terrible job of explaining what cable is needed to power the monitor and the funny thing is that the original USB-C cable that came with my HP monitor doesn't even work . In a world where so many brands, including big brands like Anker, make false or at least misleading claims, this brand can be trusted. Now I only buy cables from Nekteck.
