I love this coaster. It's really sturdy for my laptop. However, I have some problems with it. For some reason every laptop I put on it has to be at an angle, starting with the trackpad. If I don't do that and place it like most people do, screen first, then the screen turns off and the mic also mutes. This was an issue during my exam when I was in a hurry, forgot and couldn't turn my mic back on until I restarted my computer. It was annoying. I think it's because of the width that puts too much pressure in the middle where most of the components are, especially the battery. It definitely has to be wider. I have a 2" bar on both sides of my laptop and my laptop is only 15". In fact, it needs to be at least 15 inches wide to better fit most laptops. Overall this is the best and most portable stand I have ever had and I will definitely continue to use it.
