It is sold as a huggable. It's definitely not a hug. They have the entire bottom of the animal made of solid plastic, about 1/4 inch. There is no way to comfortably hug this stuffed animal. So I will be returning this item and get a real stuffed animal, preferably one to cuddle with rather than one that breathes.
