Review on Aero Wedge Pack Fixer Large by Ronald Noel

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The big bag is a bit big. The clasp is a real design flaw.

I tear. I have two existing medium bags with locks (road bike and mountain bike). But the real problem is the retainers. The large bag is a bit big and yes it will rub your feet (mountain bike, not used for road bikes). Mine wasn't that bad, but it was noticeable and would have been annoying on long drives. But the design flaw is the latch, it's not wide enough. (see photo) The crossbars under the seats are different. On one of my MTBs they fit snug enough for me to fit the mount. But on the other bike they are too far apart. If the retainer was wider it might work. The other issue is that if you can fit a mount it might be too close to the seatpost so the bag might be too long to fit (it will bang against the seatpost). I've never had a problem with the clasp. . Rides rough, doesn't break or move. I like the material and the design but the problem is with the mount. I really wanted to use a larger bag as there is room for more than one MTB tube. The other bag I currently use only fits an MTB tube. I've tried putting a large bag on my MTB that has a lock attached, but again the lock is too close to the seatpost so the bag has to be clamped in order for it to slide into the lock. And the bag rubbed against his legs. NOW I have not used a bag that only attaches with a strap. But the big one is still too big and the middle one only fits MTB tube. I guess I have to go to another company.

Cons
