USE WOOD GLUE!

Largely. You get what you paid for, so you get a $40 media tower (and that's all it's worth). I am a 66 year old young woman and put this together myself. The instructions were pretty easy to understand, with a bit of confusion at times. As others have pointed out, the difficulty arises in trying to hold the parts together during assembly. "Several times" the device came apart a bit when I reassembled other parts, bumped it lightly, or tried to move/move it slightly. One thing I want to do is use wood glue to glue the small wooden pegs in place - I think that would help a lot as the pegs are NOT solid and fall out easily, especially after falling apart. I ended up with a few extra pins so I'm wondering where I didn't put them - I think glue would have helped a lot. As far as quality goes, the shelves appear to be covered in vinyl, making them easy to peel off. I have a few "blisters" here and there, but I think they will be covered. The "wheel" for spinning is a fairly light plastic, so I'm not sure about its durability - time will tell. There was almost no hole for it so my husband had to drill it. So if you're wondering why my husband didn't help me. I ordered this for myself and as cute as he is I would do it, I wanted to do it myself and didn't take the time as he has a health issue - poke a small hole no problem. That will be enough for me until I get what I really want.
