The wheel on this shelf doesn't look strong for the weight the wheeled shelves support. I purchased Seville Classics SHE24004 3" Casters for 3" Steel Wire Shelves (set of 4) to replace the original casters. They screw in well and roll smoothly without leaving any marks on the floor. I also added shelf liners to keep the bottoms of the trash cans (which have small legs) from snagging on the wire rods. I just wish they would make these units shorter. You don't have to adjust the shelves to their maximum height though, so I have about a foot of posts at 4 corners. I couldn't find a Revain company that made shorter (54 inch) shelves.
