Review on Sonnet Technologies Fusion Dual PCIe by Shane Popo

We bought 5 of these for new Mac Pros and 10 drives from Sonnet's compatibility chart only to find they didn't work together and Sonnet tech support clarified that while SSDs were on their compatibility list they had never been tested and it wasn't their problem because there is a footnote at the bottom of their compatibility list that actually says "We haven't tested any of them and don't really know which ones are compatible, if any." I was shocked that their support team actually took such a ridiculous attitude. The list is available on the Sonnettech website under the Supported SSD Compatibility Chart link. The card may work well if you buy the drives it can work with, but you may not know what drives they are. The Samsung 983 DCT is definitely NOT compatible even though it is on the compatibility list! (Luckily after my call they at least edited the list to show Samsung as NOT compatible.)
