Only wore this for about 11 hours on a recent cross country trip, I wore them about seven hours. Starting with the thumbs down, the pillow didn't quite hold the shape I folded it into when bending it. It didn't stay where I installed it, so I spent a lot of time playing around with it. In the end I gave up trying to get it right. Another downside is that it can be 2-3 inches longer. Maybe shorter people will find this acceptable, but I'm 6ft 2in, 205ft, and it didn't seem long enough to support my head when I bent over my neck and head. Also, as a full collar, it just didn't have the thickness to cradle my head on either side and keep my neck straight. On the plus side, it's very comfortable, with soft fleece and just enough padding to cover the "skeleton" inside. The removable, washable cover is also a big plus. It's flexible enough to fit in my backpack. Overall I wouldn't buy it if I had the chance to get my hands on it before buying it. But I'm not completely dissatisfied.
