My two boys aged 3 and 4 love Thomas the little locomotive and love their pajamas but in terms of quality they are very cheap. One has a thread hanging from the collar and after 2 washes the black color has faded a bit. I don't think I can expect too high a level from them. My 4 year old is already a size 5 and they fit him perfectly, maybe even a little small. My 3 year old is very petite so I'm not surprised that a size 3 is a bit big but not to the point where it's baggy or that I have to roll up my sleeves and waist to lift my legs. Overall my boys are happy with them and I think that's all that matters.
