When you finally put the windshield on, everything works great. The problem, in my opinion, is that the suction cup that sticks to the windshield needs to be bigger. Here's what I found: The piece that attaches to the tom tom is very difficult to make, so it will fall off the first few times you use it and when you hit the tom tom. Mounted on the windshield, the fun begins. First make sure the glass is very clean, stick it on the windshield and turn the knob to lock it, try to remove the windshield, if you are lucky it stays. I'd say I've never had any luck, it may take a minute or maybe 10 minutes but it will fall. I've tried this on several different cars and trucks. It seems you need to find the right spot on the windshield and when you do, it stays installed. The problem is that it can take 5 or 10 tries to find the right place. So does it work? Yes, but you might get so excited you want to throw it out the window.
