I needed to be able to power two devices from a single USB port behind an old monitor, and there's no practical way to add more ports or extra chargers, so I was hoping this cable would supply enough power to power both of them from the same port. As you can see in my photo I'm getting 2.3 amps total from a single source (>1 amp at each end) and although the voltage has dropped from 5.23 volts to 4.9 times volts with no load, the ones you see in the photo, this isn't the case. The cable is to blame, it just means my source isn't that strong. The description lists the cable as 22 inches, but that's from the top, including the USB connector. The cable length itself is 19 inches, which was more than enough in my case, but just don't count on all 22 inches. The cable is thicker than your standard USB charging cables, which hopefully means it's shielded and reinforced really well. This works like a perfect solution for me.
