Prolonged the life of my phone.

My phone's USB port was such that I could no longer reliably charge my phone. The cable would just fall out. Any cable. This was a problem with the last 3 phones I had. Replacing a port costs about the same as a phone, so forget about it. Anyway, I was planning on buying this and putting it on to make my phone work until I pick up a new phone. Guess what? It fits snugly into my phone's USB port. Didn't need super glue, I've been using it for 2 months now and have no plans to buy a new phone. I added little earbuds and a few other things and now I charge everything with them. The only place this gives me a small problem is when charging things in the car. If they slip and trip in the car seat, they switch off. When I got a new phone I wanted to buy a phone with wireless charging but now they are over $500 and I usually buy $150-$200 phones. Now I think I'll probably continue to buy regular USB charging phones and use them from the start to avoid problems.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
