I started seeing more and more of these around campgrounds. I bought a new truck and RV a few years ago when I retired. Due to the height of the truck and trailer, I often have to use folded spacers when leveling at the campsite. When using a single wheel lift, you can sometimes find yourself in a situation where you cannot lower the lift low enough with the wheel to get off the blocks. Simply removing the wheel and placing the lift strut on a stack of shims applies a lot of downward force in a very small space. This leg distributes the weight perfectly across the width of the stacking boards and is very stable. I am very pleased with how well this works on our trailer at a great price.
