The backing is a thin cellophane and it is very difficult to get a loose corner started. Once you finally get a corner of the backing loose, it's crucial to only peel a few inches at a time as you apply the film down the window. I used a ruler to start the cellophane pulling away in a straight line.My first attempt was a total disaster. Removing all the cellophane and once and trying to line up the film, working out the bubbles. no bueno.If you apply it carefully, it looks good. If you try to apply it quickly, it will have a bunch of squiggly bubble trails left behind. The unevenness will show and is impossible to fix.
