Fading compared to the Gamecube controller.

As a die-hard fan of the Nintendo Gamecube and the Super Smash Bros. series, I was curious to find an alternative to the Gamecube controller when I received the latest version of Smash Bros. on the Wii U. I was originally interested in this product because the Gamecube controller had 4 shoulder buttons instead of the original 3, while still maintaining the same aesthetic. Also, it was a lot cheaper, so I bought it. Once I received the package and played for a few minutes, it became clear why it was so much cheaper than the Gamecube controller. While it looked incredibly similar to the Gamecube controller, that's where the similarities ended. The weight of the controller is very light because it has no screen. The joysticks, buttons, and shoulder triggers feel clunky and cheap. It was difficult to press the keys accurately at high speeds. The buttons also made loud clicks that were louder than a regular controller. You also have to press the buttons harder than other controllers for them to actually retract and register. The shoulder buttons are sometimes erratic when an input is recognized, not because they're not recognized, but because you have to press them hard at a certain angle. Overall, I didn't enjoy this product as much as I expected. If you can, better use the original Gamecube controller or the Smash Bros.
