If you're just buying this for the little discs it hides inside then it's probably good for you. If you replace the left joystick you may experience little or no movement issues, but this joystick is definitely not balanced. It's not as sensitive to left and right movements as up and down, so accuracy is out of the question in first-person shooters. They just don't have any precision and this controller is practically useless. I could see that there is no problem with the left joystick controlling movement, but if your right joystick is broken I would try to find a new replacement as I must. I replaced it with no problem, if you have a Sauder range gun it's pretty easy. I've had no problem pressing the R3 button and neither have other people who have posted reviews about it, but again it's not accurate for accurate aiming. I'll see if there are any hacks to make it work better, but for now I'm very dissatisfied with the amount of work.
