Just received them today and have already received several compliments. They are quite comfortable right out of the box. I think after a pair of socks they will be perfect. I pretty much live in flip flops so it takes a bit of getting used to having the strap around my foot. I like that they have an adjustable velcro strap. My feet are swollen today (oh the joys of psoriatic arthritis) and I was able to undo the velcro enough to be comfortable. I have a very wide foot (I buy men's tennis shoes) and I feel comfortable. I definitely recommend them to EVERYONE because I promise you won't find a foot wider than mine, especially for swelling, and they fit me and people with narrow feet due to the adjustable strap. The ONLY negative (and the reason for the 4/5 stars) is that I wish the straps were SLIGHTLY longer.
