Review on ๐Ÿ”˜ Dritz 9 No-Sew Dungaree Buttons: Copper, 5/8-Inch 4-Count โ€“ Easy DIY Solution for Versatile Clothing Attachments by Sasha Hsiao

Fasten buttons, shame button sewing.

Bought this button to replace a button on my dress pants that kept coming off and breaking due to my weight gain. XD Some additional tools you may need are a seam ripper or your thickest sewing needle and 3 inch bench clamps and a vise. "Father" is hidden inside. Installation required some work but wasn't very difficult. Installation. Use scissors to remove the remaining thread from the old button. Locate the spot where you want to attach the button. I choose closest to the edge to maximize stretch and width. Using a seam ripper, poke through the material as deeply as possible to stretch the fibers. A regular needle is too narrow for this job. You may have to take several attempts to make the hole close, usually after removing the seam ripper. You don't really want to tear the material, you just want to make a hole big enough for the male part to pierce the female side. The side can't snap easily when clothes get in the way. Take a vise and clamp it on both the male and female sides. Let the clamps do their job, enough pressure to hold the pieces together. Ready! Button closures are supported by a metal rivet rather than thread. Congratulations, you now have a pair of button-down jean dress pants. The rivet usually outlasts the life of the material the pants are made of.
