Others I've seen have a black inner ring that catches the lens a bit. It's not like this. The black rings are separate spacers if you don't like the color. There are no instructions for them. Blue is left, red is right. to the bottom edge of the lens. If the little arrow is pointing up, they are turned on properly. Putting it on was a two-handed affair, as they didn't quite match the exact outline shape of the lens. Luckily, they're soft and fit well, fitting curves and flats snugly enough. One day they seem to stay. Tried them with my glasses and they didn't let them hit anything. The best thing about this pack is the extra features. A HUGE cleaning cloth and soft lens cap make a perfect match.
