I spent a lot of money on a new iPhone. I live and work on the water and there is always a risk of losing my phone in the water, whether it falls overboard or gets caught in the rain. This product protects my phone by keeping it tied to me so I can't drop it and covers it with a clear waterproof plastic bag. It can also be used in a bag. The touchscreen still recognizes my finger even though there is a layer of bag between the screen and my finger. The pocket is large enough for most pocket phones. The only downside is that the bag is a bit bigger than some of the bags. You have to leave it hanging around your neck or put everything in another bag or bag. When properly closed, it floats and keeps your phone dry. I don't think rain will ever be a problem. It feels durable and would work well with a daypack or any other outdoor situation. This works fine for me.
