This pillow is a good choice for a standard sized pillow. It is light and has a very even filling. It puffs up enough to fill the pretense nicely. If you need a washable pillow, then maybe you should think again. The cover undoubtedly withstands a wash. However, this is advertised as non-washable and my experience with similar pillows is that this type of filling only lasts a few washes before clumping up and you can't fix it.
