This is a work of art. And it's functional too! I had previously tried the Viking Chieftain and found this blade to be too aggressive and difficult to clean. Since the head of this razor not only opens, but can also be disassembled, all soap residue and stubble can be easily removed with a cotton swab when changing the blade. It gives me a very comfortable, close shave and looks like a luxury item due to the beautiful gold finish. However, at only about $20 for a box of 100 Wilkinson Swords, it really is more economical than more modern cartridge razors. Highly recommended.
