This product looked like quality and value. When it arrived in its original form it looked exactly like the original filters for my Shark vacuum. Unfortunately, the company that makes them uses second-rate foam that's too dense for air to pass through my vacuum. This reduced the suction power to the point where very little dirt was picked up. I could actually hear my shark's engine choke as it struggled to develop suction. This vacuum always sucked great and pulled all the hair and pet hair out of my carpet with ease. In the end I decided to take a long serrated knife and slice the foam filter in half lengthwise to reduce the thickness. It works now but I'm still worried it will overload my vacuum motor. If this company's goal is to destroy vacuum cleaners and increase vacuum cleaner sales, then they are on the right track. The product was not checked properly before production and the result is absolute rubbish. No, I would not recommend this product.
