I went back and forth to get them and I'm soooo glad I did! They sit fantastic! I'm a size 12, 5'6" and 4,175 lbs. They fit PERFECTLY. They rise as I expected. The shorts really do look like shorts. I know a lot of the reviews said it wasn't. mine has!
