I've seen a lot of negative and good reviews and I don't know if any of them really disappointed me or pushed me. I guess I just felt like being a cassette runner it couldn't be that bad. Every band runner has their little quirks and things or things we'd like to change. So today I received this tape drive. I also order supplies. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and saw that there was a cartridge inside the drive itself and there were two extras. So it says the tape pusher comes with a tape, but my guess is that it already comes with a tape, plus another. So I was unlucky, I just thought the tape pusher that was in there was the only one in there. So yes, it was an added bonus. So yes, it definitely makes the price that much better for what you get. I tested it and had no problems with it. No, I haven't had it that long, but I don't see it spoiling, and if so, no more than the smaller ones I have. What I like is how easy it is to change the fountain pen. I mean a kid can do that! I love it. A few seconds will pass and you're back in business. I like that it holds more tape than the smaller tape sliders and isn't as big as the ATG. I just wanted something smaller and it is exactly that and very ergonomic. As long as you apply consistent pressure when applying the tape, I don't see why there should be any problems. If anything changes I'll update, but for now. I am satisfied and can't wait to work with him!
