Detangles and smoothes hair when it's already dry
I thought the soft bristles in the center would suck as my hair is very long and thin (knee length) but it does actually helps to detangle and smooth; smooth. So both types of bristles were suitable for their purpose and the price was right. As for drying performance, when my hair is wet it gets tangled so I dry it first but I understand this is probably due to my great length. Would buy again.
