I've read reviews that these legs are thicker (and therefore stiffer) than the 'regular' ones. I think some of the reviewers even compared the property to the rigidity of a credit card. I didn't have high hopes, however, but I needed some collar holders, so I took a chance. I chose these in the hope that the ratings are correct AND because of the box they are sorted in. While I could probably find something at Walmart or somewhere else to stock them, it just wasn't worth the time and effort I put in, and possibly the higher price of the container (plus I don't want to sort them myself!) when the case came I tried the frames and, to my delight, they were actually as stiff as the above reviewers reported. So far I've only used 2.5" and 3" tips, which are great. To be honest, I doubt I'll ever use the 2" but I bought it because I knew it. The only thing I'm not 100% happy with is the case, because the lid is closed, that that is, with a slight shake you could let a few springs wander into the area next to it, in fact that was the first thing I noticed when the case arrived, the partitions and the lid were like a few springs between them.. I don't see this as a serious problem even if I take it on a trip. Worst case I have to choose a pair in the wrong place (they don't all get smudged in other areas.) I'm very happy with the box, the nibs and the price I believe not that I have to look long for a replacement.Be aware of the stiffness and thickness of these corsets: while some shirts may come with better corsets, unless you're lying in them, these are probably better Range from $70 to $100 for a shirt. For example, they outperform TM Lewin's clothing, which is typically around $50 per shirt, and in my opinion, outperform most shirts you can buy at department stores like Macy's.
