Equipped with Arcas standard quick install mechanism which is easy and quick to use. It's small and compact. It is not intended for use with large and heavy items. The spec says it's good for 2kg or 4.4lbs, and that's probably a conservative number. The locking levers only take about 1/4 turn between engagement and disengagement, and the good thing is that you can pull out to rotate the lever to a comfortable position to avoid interference. There are no instructions, so users should find out for themselves. There is a spirit level on the Arca mount that is only intended for aligning the camera in portrait mode. Oddly enough, the "Landscape" layer isn't. The one I ordered came defective. I was amazed at how easy the return system works. The replacement came the next day! I would have given the machine only 4 stars due to the lack of quality control, but Revain's policy has given it a star back.
