I was worried it wouldn't work because it was the last example of this design and it had a scratch like it had been used but don't worry about that. it is a charger. It's definitely fast charging. I have three wireless chargers and this is my favorite. This one stays in the living room and I have one for my bedroom and one for the kitchen. He looks like he should. I used my old Note9 power adapter with it and it works great. When I need to charge my new S21, the ring around it turns red and charges my Samsung phone for 1.5 hours. This isn't a super fast charger, but it can charge in no time. That's exactly what I wanted. When the charger is not in use or the phone is charging, the ring stays blue. It creates a very soft night light when not charging. The red light isn't very bright either, so nothing bothers me when I take it to my room to sleep. My husband hardly notices that it is in the living room. Now it is a soft and faint light. My husband loves to play in the living room at night and he loves that he can just put his S20 fe on it and he doesn't have to look for a charging cable. It's amazing, especially at night when he comes home from work. He just puts it in and he will do all the work for him. He likes it more than me because when I take the kids to school every morning his phone is always charged.
