This is a great and true white colour. But here are some things you might need to know. The length is suitable to replace any 42mm arc lamp, but the diameter is slightly smaller. So when you insert an LED bulb into its sockets, it will be a bit loose. However, I solved this problem by using needle nose pliers and squeezing the connectors closer together, making the LED bulb more solid. sure it is cozy.2. Each bulb has 2 rows of 3 LEDs making it wider than the "cylinder" which is mostly not a problem. However, if the area where you are replacing the bulb is narrow and exactly the size of a "top hat", "square" LEDs are not suitable. I used this for my ceiling lights and it had a metal cover to dissipate the heat from the bulb and since the LEDs were square I couldn't put the metal cover back on. But this is normal, because LEDs do not get as hot as old light bulbs. So just "make it work". But it won't be too much customization and "manufacturing". For these two reasons I give 4 stars. Again, I am very happy with this purchase as my 2003 Cadillac Deville dome/map light and under door lights had it super easy to "tailor" the connectors to fit the LED bulbs exactly and work. I received 20 of these with one order. Although I tested them all and they all worked. It's nice to know that some of them were unsuccessful.
