Review on Anker Soundcore Waterproof Protection Adjustment by Craig Walters

Update: I've never been so disappointed with an Anker product. I own dozens. Personally, I like this speaker. I've had one for about a month and decided I wanted another one so I could use PartyCast. It's a little finicky to get started, but nothing complicated. The only problem I have is that PartyCast quits when I take a photo or screenshot on my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Both speakers begin to wheeze and struggle to sync. It takes about 10-15 seconds for them to get back together. I do not understand that. 10-15 seconds isn't much, but it's worth noting that it's very annoying. However, everything else about this dynamic is amazing. If I had to do it all over again I would buy 5 of these instead of the large HomePod. You sound great. I set up my own EQ to beef up the highs and lows and love it. I think I'll add more over time, but I hope they can figure out why the camera shutter noise is an issue for them. Anker is great as always. My house is in Anker's house and I don't see that changing, even with a small PartyCast bug. :) Update: PartyCast is a headache. I feel like they're a little out of sync all the time. I use one in each corner of my desk to simulate stereo sound and the sound travels from the center to each side and is distracting. And every once in a while the secondary speaker just stops working and I have to go through the setup again. This is in addition to the static and other random audio distortions I mentioned earlier. I'm getting more and more frustrated. Update 2: It seems that when the battery is below 50%, it cannot handle the load. Seems an odd oversight for a power/battery/charger manufacturer. Unfortunately, the battery life has halved. Update 3: Any activity on my iPad, even going into the app switcher without using sound, causes crackling in both speakers. Strongly disappointed. If you only want to use one, I say go for it, but don't worry about PartyCast. I find it hard to believe they can't fix this.
