Eliminates rapid flashing of lights and electricity

Have you recently upgraded your turn signal bulbs to LED and are you noticing a rapid flash every time you turn on your turn signals? This flasher relay solves this problem. Don't waste time with load resistors, they actually draw more current and render low-power LEDs useless. Plus, you don't have to cut into the factory wiring harness. This relay is connected and working. Warning: I am not personally responsible for any undesirable results as a result of these instructions. This is how I replaced my flasher relay on my Chevrolet Silverado 2001HD 2500HD. It will be similar, if not the same, for other years, makes and models. Safety first: For your safety, it is recommended to block the wheels and disconnect the negative battery terminal. The flasher relay is located directly above the OBD2. Plug and parking brake release lever behind the upholstery. Remove the padding over the steering column by VERY CAREFULLY prying all around. I can't stress GENTLE enough, your finish will probably be around 20 years old and fragile. There is no need to remove the panel, just unclip it to detach it from the panel under the steering column. I went ahead and removed it completely. Next you need to remove the panel under the steering wheel. At the very bottom it is held by two screws, I unscrewed them with a 7mm head. After the screws are removed, gently pry off this cover. You may need to remove the fuse box cover to the left of this panel. The flasher relay is located just above the OBD2 connector. There should be a clip on the back of the relay. GENTLY pry this clip out while moving the relay up and down and away from the fuse box. I noticed that the new flasher relay doesn't have a notch holding it like the OEM flasher relay. As long as the new flasher relay fits snugly in the socket, that's not a big problem. Install new flasher relay. The assembly is done in reverse order. It is VERY IMPORTANT to check the turn signals and hazard warning lights. Make sure they all work. I have also attached pictures, check them out. Hope this helps someone.
