snug fit / very hard edge on the back of the heel.
They fit well for their size and I have ulcers on the back of both heels from the shoe rubbing and rubbing all day. I found the arch support too close to my heel and not where my arch actually is. I am disappointed with the overall comfort and lack of cushioning of the shoe. As far as toning shoes go, I haven't been able to wear them since day 1 to confirm this and aside from the pain in my feet, legs and bruised heels I can't say for sure if it's a useful "work" was. . out" or fatigue from uncomfortable new shoes.
