I've wanted silicone baking mats for a long time and finally got ONE last year (2012) for Christmas, although I actually needed 3 of them for my 3 half baking sheet for baking. What I got was exactly the same, Fat Daddio's baking sheet and immediately used it to toast some pears for a bun recipe I wanted to try and although the sheet discolored a bit they were excellent for general use I used it about every 2 weeks to bake a batch of homemade cookies for lunch (much cheaper and much tastier than store bought). It is holding up very well and I was going to buy 2 more and ended up buying 2 more here at Revain on 29th December 2013. I must receive them by January 3, 2014. $14) for a rug, they look just as good as more expensive ones like Silpat. When the first one finally wears out I'll buy another Fat Daddio rug to replace it. While I can't vouch for other brands as I haven't owned any other than the Fat Daddio rug, I love to bake. with these types of mats as it's generally cheaper than using parchment paper and works better than simply greasing the baking sheets.
