Review on 🚿 Upgrade Your Shower System with a Brushed Nickel G1/2 3-Way Shower Arm Diverter Valve - Compatible with Handheld and Fixed Spray Heads by Marc Cahoon

Nearly a perfect product - very glad I discovered it.

In the past we owned a hand-held shower head, and liked it. But it cracked and we replaced it with a fixed head, which was pretty good - but honestly it did not clean some awkward to reach body areas as well.So we began investigating hand-helds again, but in the meantime we have been using a soap shelf that hangs from the shower pipe that extends from the wall, and the hand-helds all had hoses that extended backwards directly into the soap shelf. The adjustable right-angle elbow incorporated into the side of this diverter solves that issue. It directs the hose at any angle (for me straight down is good). The elbow swivels freely, so if you need for it to be stiff, you may wish to look elsewhere. This diverter appears to be of exceptional quality. Solid metal and excellent finish. Plus, the lever valve is very smooth and neither stiff nor jerky. However the valve is not a shut-off, which would be nice.Instead water is directed out of either threaded end. So I will not be using that lever at all, as I wish the water to exit the elbow only, and never inline. Two washers are included. I could not use one where the hex nut screws onto the shower pipe end as there were not enough threads available to tighten securely. So I would have liked to see that hex nut lengthened 1/4 inch or so.Teflon Tape is also included.
